In the Lotto draw of Saturday evening, June 20, the Jackpot of 7.7 million euros fell on a ticket from a subscriber player from the municipality of Laarbeek. Lotto puts the importance of winners first and therefore never discloses the names of prize winners.
This player had correctly predicted the six winning numbers 45 – 43 – 10 – 8 – 16 – 25. “And then you suddenly become a millionaire on Saturday night! The lucky winner is invited to visit our office in Rijswijk for “first aid for happiness”. This consists of advice and guidance on the newly acquired wealth, ”says prize winner supervisor Karen van Schie of the Dutch Lottery, of which Lotto is a part.
Gross cash prize
The Lotto Jackpot of 7.7 million euros is a gross cash prize. This means that the winner still has to pay 30.1% gambling tax on this amount.
