The third winner of the sought-after winners of the 2019 New Year’s Eve draw has registered with the State Lottery. The winner came forward in response to the call made by Staatsloterij in recent weeks. Last year, the winner bought the half New Year’s Eve lottery ticket with lot number HA 66188 at Albert Heijn aan het Meiveld 8 in Veldhoven.
“The national search for winners of the 2019 New Year’s draw had already yielded two results last week”, says Tatiana Pijnenburg, spokesperson for the State Lottery. “The media attention and the active search of the retailers, where the winning lottery tickets were sold, helped enormously. This morning, the winner of the half MINI from Veldhoven came forward. We are delighted that three winners have already registered and sincerely hope that the other winners will also register soon”.
The prizewinner who bought the winning ticket in Veldhoven had kept the ticket neat and tidy, but had not yet checked it. The winner was triggered by the media attention and while checking the lottery ticket number he was surprised to find out that a nice prize had been won.
